B.H. Commission discusses Olympic Blvd plan

BEVERLY HILLS The Beverly Hills Traffic and Parking Commission is discussing the proposal at its meeting Thursday.

The plan by L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is to make a seven-mile stretch of Olympic and Pico boulevards mostly one-way.

Part of Olympic runs through Beverly Hills. Officials say it will improve travel speeds.

Opponents say the plan will make it harder to park and lead to more traffic in their neighborhoods.
