Crews moved tons of dirt that slid down onto Sepulveda from the backyard of a home, leaving the house about 15-feet from the edge. The slide downed a power pole, interrupting electricity service to a little more than 1,800 customers.
Geologists do not yet know what caused the land to collapse.
No injuries have been reported.
