Study: Golf is stressful on the knees

A new study says you'll get no relief if you hit the links.

Researchers studied four patients who had knee replacement surgery.

They found that golf is just as stressful on knees as tennis or even jogging.

They blame the inertial forces transferred from the upper body and the twisting at the knee during the swing.

The study was presented at the annual meeting of The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
