The driver stopped three times so suspects could get out, and at one point someone threw a gun out the window. Then the driver continued on four rims with sparks flying before finally coming to a stop.
Two people are in custody.
2 in custody after wild Van Nuys chase
VAN NUYS It started at about 11 p.m. Tuesday night on Sherman Way in Van Nuys. Police say they tried to pull over a DUI driver when he took off. They put down a spike strip but the driver ran over it and kept going, sometimes driving erratically through surface streets.
