March 13, 2008 12:00:00 AM PDT
A new British study out Thursday finds children who take Vitamin D supplements are less likely to develop Type 1 diabetes later in life. The chance of developing Type 1 diabetes dropped by almost 30 percent in children who received extra doses of Vitamin D.
