The boy told police Banegas grabbed and groped him over his clothing before he ran out of the bathroom and told his mother, who notified Wal-Mart staff and the Sheriff's Department.
Deputies searched the store and located Banegas, whom the boy identified as the molester. Turner said video surveillance also confirmed his identity.
Banegas later admitted during an interview he assaulted the boy, according to Turner. He was arrested for one count of child molestation and is being held with a bail of $50,000.
