Strange van prompts sex predator alert

THOUSAND OAKS Authorities say 27-year-old Kevin Perry is not wanted for committing a crime, but he's been seen several times in a van, parked at a shopping mall on Agoura Road near Westlake.

There is strange writing on the van and a poster that reads, "One dollar to talk to a real life pedophile."

Perry has not been seen in a week.

Anyone who sees him or has information is urged to call the Ventura County Sherriff's Department at (805) 654-2380.
