City offers reward in freeway shooting

March 20, 2008 12:00:00 AM PDT
LAPD and the L.A. City Council hope a $50,000 reward will lead to the killers who gunned down a man on the Hollywood freeway. The reward will be made available in an official announcement Thursday morning.

Twenty-six year-old Bunthan Roeung was shot and killed on March 1.

He and his friends were driving on Hollywood Boulevard when they got into an argument with a group in a gray or black Chevy Monte Carlo.

That car followed them onto the freeway, where one of the passengers opened fire.

Police hope someone will recognize the suspect.

Anyone with information is urged to call 1-877-law-full or 877-529-3855.
