Alternative hypertension treatment

If your blood pressure is high, the problem could actually lie in your spine.One in three adults suffers from high blood pressure.

But a new study suggests a chiropractic adjustment to the top of the spine might bring it down.

Some chiropractors believe that when the C-1 vertebra is twisted, it pinches arteries and nerves causing discomfort, and possibly affecting blood flow.

A double blind study showed an average 17-point drop in blood pressure for the patients who got the adjustment.
