Obama takes a moment to enjoy 'The View'

NEW YORK Obama addressed several topics, including the controversy over his retired pastor. The Illinois senator said he would not have felt comfortable staying at the church had the Rev. Jeremiah Wright not retired and not acknowledged that what he said was offensive.

Obama also explained the first three things he would do if elected president.

"I'm going to call in the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff and the relevant commanders, and the Secretary of State, the whole national security apparatus, and give them a new mission, which is to responsibly and honorably begin a withdrawal from Iraq," said Sen. Obama.

Obama says as president he would also draft legislation to give every American healthcare and thirdly, deal with the energy crisis.

"The View's" Barbara Walters says she hopes to have the other presidential candidates on the show as well.
