Families of murdered students call for reward

SOUTH L.A. Those in attendance called on police to ask for a reward to be offered to bring the killers to justice.

Hibbert was on scholarship at Cal State Northridge and was just weeks away from graduation.

Family and friends walked around the city on Sunday passing out flyers asking for information.

Family said the friends came to South L.A. from Northridge to stay with friends and were shot in the head near 43rd Street and Figueroa.

Family members are asking the LAPD to offer a reward to help catch those responsible, who they say are gang members.

If you have any information on these shooting, you're asked to call LAPD Southwest Division at (213) 485-6571.

For now, the police has no plans to put up a reward.
