The shooting happened around noon Sunday in the 1000 block of West Pine.
The suspect got into an argument with several people in a car and then started shooting, police said. The car then drove away and Jimenez was then shot.
He was rushed to the hospital where he later died.
The intended victims and the suspected shooter got away, and police have no leads at this time.
