WB 118 Freeway reopened following crash

GRANADA HILLS The crash occurred on the 118 Freeway at Zelzah Avenue about 2:15 a.m., said Los Angeles Fire Department Capt. Sean Hughes.

All westbound lanes of the 118 Freeway have been reopened at Balboa Boulevard after being closed for hours while crews worked to clear the scene and the CHP investigated.

The officers were taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills with unknown injuries. It appears no one else was hurt in the crash.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
