Vigil for teen who died in Malibu crash

NEWBURY PARK Cody Murphy, who attended Newbury Park High School, died in the crash. An impromptu vigil was held Wednesday night at the high school.

Officials say Murphy was driving four other 17-year-old's Wednesday on PCH in Malibu when the car overturned. Authorities say the teens had gone to a concert in Hollywood where they drank alcohol, then went to the Santa Monica Pier where they drank more.
