University of Chicago researchers studied more than 184,000 postmenopausal women, saying those who had one-to-two small drinks a day were 32 percent more likely to develop a hormone-sensitive tumor. Three or more drinks raised the risk to 51 percent.
But some experts say those drinking modest amounts of alcohol, or less than a drink a day, have little reason to worry.
