The judges handed out some 10s, but some of the contestants are giving them much lower scores.

Before Kristi Yamaguchi and Mark Ballas were jumping for joy, they were jiving for the judges.

"It was so fun out there," said Yamaguchi. "I don't think we could have had much more fun. And we were smiling and having a blast and so to get the 30 is just out of this world."

Mario and his partner, Karina Smirnoff, were close behind with 28 out of 30 for their rumba. But neither was pleased with a comment made by head judge Len Goodman.

"It's not the story of a strumpet and a gigolo, and that's what I got," Goodman told Mario and Karina.

"I would have taken, 'sexy chemistry between the both of you,'" said Mario.

"No, he could say it's too raunchy, it's offensive. He can say anything. He can call names. I understand at his age, 150, this is dangerously raunchy," said Smirnoff.

Happy with the judges this week, third-place finishers Cristian de la Fuente and Cheryl Burke, with triple nines.

"First time we get love from the judges, all three of them. I'm so happy. I'm overwhelmed with love," said de la Fuente.

A point behind them, Marissa Jaret Winokur and Tony Dovolani -- a big night for the fourth-place finishers.

"Her personality is big. Her love is big. Her hair is big. Her earrings are big," said Dovolani.

"My butt is big," said Winokur. "It's all good."

"I wasn't going to say that," said Dovolani.

"It's all good. I don't care," said Winokur.

"And I love her just the way she is," said Dovolani.

Tied for fifth with triple eights, Jason Taylor and Edyta Sliwinska, and Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough.

"At the end of the day, this is for fun. It's not life and death. And we had fun," said Taylor. "If we get eights, we get eights. We get 10s and we'll take it. But either way, I'm having a great time."

"I just think the judges already have picked out who they want to do well in this and they're trying to guide the audience and hopefully the audience will do what they want to do," said Shannon Elizabeth.

In last place on the leaderboard this week: Marlee Matlin and Fabian Sanchez.

"Hit the phones, you know? Send the pigeons with a note, you know? Whatever you got to do, you know what I'm saying?" said Sanchez.

"Vote! Vote! Vote vote vote vote!" pleaded Matlin.
