Police say the vehicle that hit the woman may have been a yellow school bus, which did not stop. They are now searching for the vehicle.
There were no passengers in the vehicle at the time of the accident and police believe it may have been a charter bus or private school bus.
The woman, who was in her 30s, died at the scene. Her name is being withheld pending notification of her relatives.
