$500M plan to modernize Dodger Stadium

LOS ANGELES The team announced a five-year, $500 million stadium upgrade on Thursday. The renovations include a new entrance beyond center field, a new plaza inside the stadium gates, an outdoor deck area, a modern promenade, restaurants, and a new Dodger Museum.

The stadium opened back in 1962. Next season, it will become the third oldest in major league baseball behind Boston's Fenway Park and Chicago's Wrigley Field.
