Police in Norwich, Connecticut say all residents of an apartment complex destroyed by fire have been accounted for. Norwich police say authorities have contacted all 155 residents to make sure everyone survived. They say no serious injuries were reported.

The fast-moving fire destroyed most of the apartment complex in eastern Connecticut early Saturday.

Firefighters reported that two buildings were fully engulfed by flames by the time they arrived and tenants were calling for help.

Connecticut Governor M. Jodi Rell visited the site today and urged state residents to donate to the Red Cross, which is helping the victims.
