4 dead in pickup truck crash

27 people were injured in the accident
PHOENIX Authorities are investigating the immigration status of those involved in the Sunday morning rollover crash.

The truck was carrying 31 people. Pinal County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Vanessa White says 27 survivors have been taken to hospitals. She did not know their conditions.

She says speed, inattention and possibly alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash around 5:30 a.m. about 60 miles south of Phoenix.

White did not know whether the back of the pickup was enclosed.
