Tomatoes may fight wrinkles, skin damage

British researchers found that lycopene, a chemical found in tomatoes, may help ward off wrinkles and skin damage.

In fact, scientists claim adding five tablespoons of tomato paste to a daily diet improves the skin's ability to fight off harmful UV rays, and people eating tomato paste daily had higher levels of a molecule that keeps skin firm.

Experts say, however, that tomatoes are not a sunscreen replacement.
