More than 400 girls were in South L.A. to pick out donated dresses for the prom. They could pick out any dress they wanted.
One junior from Woodrow Wilson High School was happy to find a red dress to wear.
"It feels great to come from a family that really doesn't have any economic budget to buy whichever dress you want. And to have a place where you can come and dress like a princess, choosing all of these different dresses, it's just amazing," said Bernice.
