The victim is identified as 21-year old Christopher Wootton of Bellflower.
Witnesses say for some reason, a group of about 20 people got into a fight during which Wootton was fatally stabbed. Officers later arrested a 20-year old man in connection with the killing.
Wootton was scheduled to graduate later this month and start graduate school in Nuclear Engineering.
