The government is urging 15 passenger van users to drive with extra caution this summer.
NHTSA: Full vans prone to rollovers
Those high-occupancy vans are often used by church groups and youth organizations, especially during the summer months. But data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) shows the vans are more prone to rollovers when fully loaded. The government says that may be the reason 31 percent of fatal rollovers involving those types of vans occur during the summer travel season.
