The city of Gardena is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the robbers.

The suspects were described as two male blacks in their 20s, said Deputy Byron Ward of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. One of the suspects was wearing a bandana type of mask, with black jacket and a white T-shirt, and the second suspect was wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans, Ward said.

Roh was working at a small T-shirt store was working behind the counter at about 6:45 p.m. when a gunman bolted into the store. He yelled something, then the first shot went off.

As he was emptying out the cash register, he shot at least two more times, then fled.

An accomplice was outside the clothing store.

Roh was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where she later died.

Customers and neighbors at the strip mall were stunned with Roh's murder.

"The sweet lady, I can't believe this, oh god, she was so sweet. She had been robbed three times," said customer Mikka Tart as she sobbed.

"Every time she would see me, 'My friend, my friend.' You know, that's her glory to me, every time she would see me," Tart said.

Sung Kim, who runs a bakery two doors down, said he was already gone when the shooting happened. Kim said the strip mall is typically a safe area.
