Longest game record tied with 20 innings

After 20 innings, Downey's Ivory Thomas III walked home with the bases loaded, as the Vikings beat Harvard Westlake 3-2 in the division three wildcard round.

The players rushed the field after he scored the winning run.

The only other game between southern section teams to go this long was in 1962 when Orange defeated Santa Ana, 7-6, also in 20 innings.
