"When other kids said 'singer,' I said, 'X-ray technician,'" said Micha'ly. "I just wanted to do something to help people. I love to help people."

Even with a sometimes hectic schedule, Micha'ly finds inspiration from the veterans she is there to aid and comfort.

"I look around, I'm like, so much they gave for me," said Micha'ly. "They laid their life on the line for me. So why should I ever complain, because look what they did for me."

As a student in the Aspirations in Medical Services (AIMS) Medical Program at Jordan High School, Micha'ly shows that she has what it takes to succeed in a career of caring.

"She has the ability to understand other people's feelings, she's willing to help and she seems to like interacting with people," said Tabatha Baskin, medical occupation instructor.

As a true caregiver, Micha'ly finds joy in the joy she gives.

"In the medical field, someone's always in the need to be helped," said Micha'ly. "Everywhere you look, someone's coming in and you can always help them. The little things put a smile on their face. So that's what makes me happy. I like to put smiles on people's faces."

Giving help and a smile to those who have given so much, she is our Cool Kid, Micha'ly Hall.
