A power line came down on a police cruiser Wednesday night, trapping the officer inside for about 10 minutes. He was not injured.

The winds also kicked up a 15-acre brushfire in the Angeles National Forest on Wednesday that briefly threatened some homes.

Drivers are warned to be aware of trees and other debris on the road.

The wind advisory was in effect until 9 a.m. Thursday.
