Lance worked tirelessly to bring together many people working toward one goal.

"Soon, you see one student walk in. And then you see the whole school walk in with socks. That felt great," said Lance.

All that work paid off when Lance and his classmates met the troops they helped.

"That so many people put forth so much effort and time to do all of this for us, it's really amazing," said Sgt. David Stewart.

Lance saw how much our soldiers give of themselves. He felt a need to give to them.

"When you watch the news, it's always the Marines are trying to help the citizens over there, but then what about the Marines? Nobody's really helping them," said Lance.

Finding a great way to support the troops, he is our Cool Kid, Lance Manzon.
