New laws target L.A. gang, gun problem

The city of Los Angeles has launched a new crackdown on gangs.The strategy includes tough new laws and restrictions on gang members with guns.

The new laws will allow police to seize gang members weapons, cars and homes, and police promise to be relentless.

The county and federal government will also be working together on the new laws so that it will be more difficult to buy ammunition.

There will be restrictions on gun sales. 670 Los Angeles residents have been shot this year, and the majority of those shootings are gang-related.
