After 17 years, Alameda County authorities have figured out the identity of a woman whose beaten and burned body was found in a car in the East Bay hills. But they still need to find her killer.

Vicenta Sanchez-Orellana of Oakland was found on Jan. 27, 1991, in a ravine near Castro Valley. Dental records didn't lead to a match on the 24-year-old at first - until a niece in Texas recognized a description of her on a missing persons site.

Sanchez-Orellana had two young children at the time she was killed.

Sheriff's officials say her then-husband, Oscar Orellana, is among several "people of interest" in the case. No arrests have been made.
