Parents launch 'Stop the Killing' campaign

May 31, 2008 12:00:00 AM PDT
A group of parents in Los Angeles is trying to draw attention to their children's unsolved murders. They have launched a billboard campaign called "Stop the Killing".

The parents hope to attract funding to help find their children's killers.

Members of "Stop the Killing" say they want to see city and state money being spent on what they call urban terrorism.

The group has a goal to put up a new billboard every month.

As much as they demand action from policy makers and police, they hold members of the community just as responsible, and say they want witnesses to speak up.
