Pair of earthquakes strikes SoCal

Two earthquakes struck Sunday night in Southern California within minutes of each other, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. At 9:59 p.m., a magnitude 3.0 quake struck 3 miles east of Westmorland and 17 miles north of El Centro in Imperial County.

At 10:13 p.m., a magnitude 3.2 quake occurred 9 miles northeast of Moreno Valley in San Bernardino County, 64 miles east of the Los Angeles Civic Center.
