Chemical fire blazes in NorCal plant

A chemical fire in Northern California that forced people to stay indoors is finally out.Investigators are now trying to figure out what happened.

The fire started around 6 p.m. Thursday at the Ashland Distribution plant in Fairfield.

Officials say the burning chemicals are used in nail polish remover and in paint and gasoline, but that this fire did not spew poisonous gas.

It took firefighters about three hours to put it out.
