Clinton cancels UCLA commencement speech

Former president Bill Clinton cancelled a commencement speech at UCLA this week because of an ongoing labor dispute.He was supposed to address 4,000 graduating seniors on Friday, but his office says he will not appear because of the long-running rift between the university and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.

The university says former California Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez also cancelled a commencement speech at UC Davis scheduled for Wednesday because of the wage dispute.
