L.A. buses get lowest on-time rating

LOS ANGELES The Los Angeles Times reports that Metro's on-time performance is the lowest compared to 10 other big cities, including New York and Chicago.

MTA officials say performance is down partially because staffing hasn't kept up with growth in service. The MTA is adding 10 new supervisors to help keep things moving.

Authorities said the goal is to get the buses on time, at least 70 percent of the time.
