He had hoped to raise nearly half a million U.S. dollars to start a new life after a painful breakup with his wife, but the auction only brought in $384,000.
"I guess I'm a little bit disappointed at the final price. I'd hoped it to be a little higher than that, but I am committed to selling and moving on and making a fresh start," Usher said.
Usher says he plans to achieve some of his life-long goals over the next few years and is starting a new Web site aimed at doing just that.
