Group cracks down on hospital bullies

The Joint Commission says doctors can be the worst -- intimidating nurses and others into not questioning their decisions.

The group says that can put patient safety at risk and increase health care costs.

Another research group says nurses, pharmacists and hospital administrators can also be bullies.

The Joint Commission will now require hospitals to have codes of conduct and mandates for dealing with inappropriate behavior.
