Yucaipa Police say Grace had to leave early, so she walked ahead of the group. Several hikers saw Grace one mile from High Creek; however, when the group reached the summit, they did not see her.
Grace is carrying a black backpack and has a small supply of food and water.
She is described as an Asian female, 5' 8", and about 135 pounds. She has long brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a purple T-shirt, white sweater, black running shorts, and white shoes.
Authorities say she has limited hiking experience.
