"I'm always looking for fun things to do over the summer and, you know, with things the way they are now and everyone trying to cut corners and trying to find ways to save money, I'm always looking for fun things I can do with my son," said Francine Jacome, a local mother.
"Absolutely! It's wonderful entertainment for the kids and the whole family. My sister's here and all of my nephews and my daughters -- absolutely," said Cheri Miller.
The Performing Arts Center teams up with a local film festival for this program, reaching out into the community.
"Both the Orange County Performing Arts Center and the Newport Beach Film Festival have a mandate to keep the arts accessible. And really, that means bringing families out to events like this -- not to just some of the high-ticket items that you may see throughout the year," said Gregg Schwenk, Newport Beach Film Festival.
