Funeral held for girl killed by stray bullet

SOUTH LOS ANGELES The funeral service for Jasmine Sanders was held at a Baptist church in south Los Angeles.

The girl was killed by a stray bullet. And police say the gun was fired by her 13 year old cousin, who was aiming at a boy in a crowd nearby.

During the service, city officials urged parents to keep weapons away from their kids.

Jasmine's family was just trying to cope.

The 13 year old has pleaded not guilty to shooting his cousin.

Jasmine is the 3rd member of her family to die from gunfire in a two week period.
