Pet food recalled for salmonella concern

No illnesses have been reported, but Mars Petcare, which makes the foods, says an ingredient that should have been held back was accidentally shipped to a facility in Tracy.

The recalled product is about 100 bags of Pedigree Complete Nutrition Small Crunch Bites. The food was shipped to Albertson's stores in Southern California and Costco stores around the state.
