Fruit juice may keep meds from body

LOS ANGELES Other studies have found grapefruit juice can lower the effectiveness of some drugs, but now researchers are linking orange and apple juice to the same problem. They say the fruit juices block some drugs used to treat heart disease, cancer and organ transplant rejection from getting into your bloodstream.
