Contract negotiations between the Service Employees International Union and nine contractors that serve major airlines have reached an impasse.
Workers are fighting for higher wages, more affordable health care and better training.
Airport executives said in a statement, "While it is not in our authority to mandate a remedy, we offer our encouragement and hope that both parties meet again soon to frame a solution that serves a common good."
