Exercising during pregnancy can help women ward off depression, according to a study in Annals of Behavioral Medicine.Researchers say active women felt better about their bodies.

Those who exercised regularly before they got pregnant had an even better self-image in their second and third trimesters.

The study also noted that a positive attitude helped keep depression at bay.
