'Abuse-resistant' OxyContin on the way

Researchers claim they have developed a new form of OxyContin that is less addictive.OxyContin is widely prescribed as a pain killer, but is also considered to be highly habit forming.

The new formula adds the anti-addiction drug Naltrexone. The FDA still has to approve the new formula.

While cocaine and meth amphetamine use is down among young adults, abuse of pain killers such as OxyContin rose 12 percent last year.
