Study likes allergies to C-section kids

New research shows children delivered by Caesarian section and who have a parent with allergies or asthma, are about two times more likely to develop hay fever and classic allergic diseases, but not asthma.Scientists studied 432 children from birth to age 9.

Researchers say the lack of exposure to the some of the mother's bacteria and the absence of labor may be the reason.

The study is in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
