Obesity may increase miscarriage risk

Researchers tracked nearly 700 women who had miscarriages that were unexplained. They found being obese increased the risk of another miscarriage by 73 percent.

Researchers say this is the first study to look at body mass index and recurrent miscarriage. Women who have had more than one miscarriage should get some counseling on the benefits of weight loss, researchers said.
