Investigation underway into Clean Trucks

LOS ANGELES The Federal Maritime Commission says certain aspects of the Clean Truck program might violate the shipping act, imposing unfair regulations and fees on truckers and shippers.

It is urging port authorities to delay implementing the program, which is scheduled to begin October 1.

The ports have vowed to proceed with the program.
