Fresno priest speaks out against Prop. 8

Father Geoffrey Farrow of the Saint Paul Newman Center stunned parishioners during his Sunday morning closing remarks by saying the church is wrong in not supporting gay marriage and that he's gay.

The reaction was mixed, with about half the congregation giving him a standing ovation.

Farrow says parishioners kept asking how they should vote on Proposition 8, the measure banning gay marriage, and he had to follow his heart.
